The digital challenge

“We switched to 3D design in 2004. We were lucky, but we also had the insight to understand that it was time for a change. All we do today consists of three-dimensional designs. This choice immediately proved to be of paramount importance for the company."

"3D enabled us to present ourselves to important customers when the need arose with preparatory three-dimensional drawings to show the solutions designed for them."

The solution

“Companies that want to stand out from the rest must be equipped with suitable IT systems that can provide guidance and a common purpose to all of the operators.

3D enabled us to present ourselves to important customers when the need arose with preparatory three-dimensional drawings to show the solutions designed for them. “

“When we started working with Prisma Tech, we decided to equip ourselves with a global PDM system.  This also gave us the opportunity to invest in the connection with our ERP system.”

"The decision to entrust this to Prisma Tech and to use Vault and Inventor software enabled us to provide guidance on our design method."

The results

“We have three companies that produce similar things in a large variety of situations. We had to take similar components but with different names and locations in different warehouses, with small differences between them, and undertake a coding alignment pathway. i.e. an alignment involving designs and warehousing, cost reduction and production flexibility. Today we are able to acquire work orders through one of the three companies in the group and spread them over the said companies, dividing production according to requirements and the advantages to be gained.”
